Did you know that ninety percent of women wear the wrong bra size?

Either you should be very knowledgeable or you should consult a professional Bra Fitter to find the right size Bra for your self. A professional will also help you to select the right kind of Bra for your life style and activities.

Tell Tale Signs of a Wrong Size Bra

•  The back of the bra rides up. The band of your bra should stay level around the circumference of your body. A band that rides up in the back means your band size is too big.

•  The shoulder straps dig in. The wires (in the cup) dig the sides of the bust. The bra straps should only be 10% of the support your bra gives. If your bras straps are doing all the work, consider going down a band size.

•  Breasts appear to fall out of the cups and the skin bulges out of the sides. Breasts should not fall out below the bra when raising your hands above your head. If they do try, going down a band size

•  The bra is too tight, causing bubbling of the bust – often referred to as “double bump”. The middle part of your bra that sits between your breasts should sit flat on your rib cage. If it doesn't try, going up a cup size.

•  Bra is uncomfortable to wear and leaves marks on your skin. Your bra band should not be giving you the illusion of back fat. If this is happening try a larger band size or a difference style bra.

A bra worn too loosely around the rib cage will allow it to "ride up," (shown in the photo at left) which in turn provides insufficient support for the breasts. The more the shoulder straps are tightened in an attempt to raise the breasts, the more the bra back will be raised above the shoulder blades.

You should adjust the straps on your bra each time you put it on. Daily wear can cause the straps to become loose and let the cups droop. It only takes a minute.

This image is of the back of a good fitting bra. Note that the back is level or parallel to the floor; not hiked up or riding above the shoulder blades. It also lies snugly against the back.

This photo is of a poor-fitting bra, the cup is too small so the bra does not fit snugly against the rib cage, resulting in inadequate support. This may also cause the bra to ride up in back while it droops in front. A too-small cup size may also allow breast tissue to slip or bulge out from the bra.
